Lemme guess. Saudi Arabia with strings attached?
/johnny
Israel did.
Yep.
Israel sent a relief mission. Perhaps there were others.
Thanks for the information.
I wonder if they were officially thanked by the Obama administration or even the Governors of NY and NJ....
I can’t figure out why someone with a bit of money does not put out the word that they will give $150.00 per gun. They can then resell them. And no one will sell there guns to the state.
It says:
“Iran’s Red Crescent is prepared to help the victims in the US,” said Mahmoud Mozaffar, head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society’s Relief and Rescue Organization.
Question — Is the Iranian Red Crescent a PRIVATE charity like the Red Cross, or are they affiliated with the Iranian Government? (I’d be very surprise if the GOVERNMENT of Iran volunteered to help).
RE: I cant figure out why someone with a bit of money does not put out the word that they will give $150.00 per gun.
Are you sure you are in the right thread?
Nope- wrong thread. My mistake.
My guess is that nothing happens in Iran without an OK from the powers that be in Tehran. The irrationality of the Iranian government is greatly overestimated- everybody wants to make PR points.
Our poor people are fat... Other countries really don’t need to help us.
Official help from the Israeli government was declined, so they assisted through NGO’s.
When they heard non union electricians couldn’t volunteer, some of the countries were afraid they would have to join a union in order to help?
Believe it or not:
Russia

There are plenty of articles about Israel’s relief mission though. They did a heck of a lot.
RE: Official help from the Israeli government was declined, so they assisted through NGOs.
Why on earth would we decline it?
And if it went via NGO’s, I am sure other countries might have gone that route too, if so, does anyone know which country participated?
