Joe... the major difference is that you offered to pay for the part(as any good conservative would do) and the company had the choice to offer it for free. In the case of the Lego piece the young boy was coached by his dad to only ask for a “free” replacement. I merely made the point that the dad should have encouraged the kid to offer to pay for the lost piece rather than go straight for the “free” replacement piece email. This is a simple straight forward conservative response. I don’t know why so many freepers are squealing like liberals about me being a meanie LOL!!

How are you coming on writing that letter to Dad?

Why is a good conservative bothered when a company chooses to respond generously to a *request*?

Do you leave coal under the Christmas tree because you know your children haven’t *really* been good enough to *deserve* all their presents every year? Or do they receive gifts of toys, clothing, etc, even though they haven’t been 100% good?

Since you show grace and charity to your own children, despite their certain disobedience, why are you offended when a company shows grace and charity to this bow?
