Prayers for your family. My niece, my cousins husband, and a good friend all died from a glioblastoma. I despise the word and the havoc it brings. I pray that someday they can find a means of curing or managing this deadly cancer.

Oh my-—prayers sent your way as well!

It is the most vicious cancer. They have made progress from what I understand. My youngest (15 year old) son recently had a sports related moderate concussion. He went into a concussion care treatment program (it was part of a research study associated w/the Univ. of Pittsburgh). While making small talk w/one of the grad students (he was saying how brain injuries are now being taken seriously) I mentioned my mom’s brain cancer. HIS father had died at a young age (40s) of the same tumor. We shared our experiences and he told me that is why he went into neurology.

One of my prayer intentions is always that those who research for cures will be guided & helped int their journey. I was impressed by this young man I met.
