>>For every good point or interesting thing Alex Jones brings up, there is a loopy, crazy, stupid idea sure to follow. He’s a lot like Ron Paul and his groupies like that. About half of what they have to say is right on target, the other half is utterly insane. Unfortunately 50% is a failing grade<<

If you’re a student. Jones is the one doing the talking. Adults know how to filter out the “insane” and listen to the “good points and interesting things”.

The problem is the 50% of his time spent on insane, crazy talk blows up his credibility. Jones is a truther - just like Ron Paul and many of his cult-like followers. It is pretty hard to take a truther seriously about anything. If you think, just as an example, that the government blew up WT7 then I just can't listen to your economic ideas with a straight face. I'll always know the crazy is strong within you and it will be near impossible to consider much else you have to say.

The problem with guys like Alex Jones is they tend to ascribe all sorts of dark conspiracies to just about everything. Some mentally unstable kid takes a couple guns to school and shoots a classroom up and people like Jones jump to the conclusion it is a government setup to take our guns away. I mean, bad things happen. A nefarious plot is not necessarily to explain most bad human behavior. Will liberals use any excuse to ban guns? Sure. Are they staging these events by programming sick kids so they can seize our guns? No.
