Considering that the Nubian empire conquered and ruled Egypt for almost 200 years, why is it surprising that blacks would have been in other countries in the area?

It’s a shame we don’t have more written history of the last 20,000 years.

In truth...it is most likely that things similar (albeit on a pre-historic scale) were responsible for many migrations, etc.

As my Grandma always said - the new generation always thinks they are the first to experience love and sex.

My guess is that the majority of the exploration on all continents were driven by love and sex.

I don’t believe the article states surprise regarding anything other than the existence of the bust of Memnon from early Greek antiquity.

The Black Pharaohs ruled Egypt very well as a mater of fact, re-built temples and gained popular supports. But, in truth, the Egyptians were not racists —some pharaohs were Black, some white, most brown. Egyptians were more interested in the gods you worshiped rather than the tint of your skin. The Nubians, who also lived on the sacred Nile, were seen as brothers and fellow Egyptians.

“Black”?! You mean, ‘African-American’, right?
