Yup.
The global warming nuts on the east coast who are experiencing above normal temperatures this year need to understand that China, Russia, India, Canada and Alaska are all experiencing below normal temperatures.

Hmmm....let me think this through. We're told that carbon emissions create "global warming," therefore, we should cut back on production, use of fuel, etc. America and other countries are told to cut down, and they comply, but a country like China thumbs it's at these policies, and not held to the Kyoto Accord, yet would think that because they don't, that "global warming" would get out of hand and all Chinese would be standing around with fans and sweaty wife-beater t-shirts.
Yet.... hmm... could it be possible that... well... ENVIRO-NUTS ARE WRONG!!!!
Of course, as I'm reminded that when the language doesn't work anymore, you change the terminology. "Climate Change." Hah. I'm sure China can point to many other times in their past where they've had some bad winters, like anywhere else in the northern hemisphere.

Global warming is definitely happening. Weather patterns are definitely changing. The only debate concerns the cause. I, like everyone else, am not sure why.
That it is currently cold in China is anecdotal information so it is worthless as far as constructing a meaningful theory.
I doubt we are causing it, but it is a possibility. Not enough definitive evidence yet.
One thing is certain. We are destroying the water on the planet. This is indisputable across all scientists. That is my bigger concern.

Global warming ain’t happening. You know what a single degree (in Celsius) of alleged “average warming” across the entire globe, measured with different types of instrument with even more differing types of calibration, means? Yup, means nothing.

How are we destroying the water? That just sounds like the next scare tactic of the enviro-nazis, now that they realize we’re on to the global warming scam.

We are destroying the water on the planet......How? Water is Hydrogen, and oxygen. Combined. The water you drank yesterday was the water OOG drank (and pissed out two millions years ago). Yes, there are sediments, even medicines or radiation in it, but once it evaporates and comes down as water, again and again how are WE destroying it? How do you destroy gasses ?

Serves them right for producing all that carbon.

My mother made a similar remark to me some months ago. I thought then that it sounded like another ginned up scare tactic, & still do. I know that we’re tapping reservoirs & possibly over-using them, but we have ways of making potable water out of sea water. Not likely we’re going to run out of that anytime soon.

"south-moving polar cold fronts caused by global warming"
I like that. Yes, in the entire history of the planet going back billions of years, cold fronts have never been caused by normal climatic events. Sure. (snicker)

China is experiencing unusual chills this winter with its national average temperature hitting the lowest in 28 years
Any Green cultist will tell you China's unusual chills are just more proof of global warming. When you've invented a cult, facts don't matter - anything that happens is going to be portrayed as proof that your doomsday predictions are justified. If there's a hurricane it's because of global warming. If it's unusually cold in much of the world it's because of global warming. If it gets hot in summer, well of course that's because of global warming.
Some Green cultists realize that their scare-term "global warming" is getting them laughed at when they try to associate it with freezing temperatures or the usual hurricane season, so they want to change the scare words to something more vague like "man-made climate change". The benefits of this are that it can more properly be applied to any damn thing that is worth remarking about. The drawback is that such nonsense is making too many people realize how ridiculous and irrelevant the entire climate change cult is.

In related but unreported news, it has now been 2630 days since the last major (greater than or equal to Force 3) hurricane has made landfall in the US mainland. This shatters the old record of 2231 days set 19 Oct 1906.
This record breaking calm period is, of course, due to "Global Warming". Then again, when the next major hurricane hits, that too will be due to "Global Warming".

We are destroying the water on the planet. This is indisputable across all scientists. There is, a CRAP LOAD of water on this planet. We may be causing localized pollution and dis-location issues (which, do indeed worry me)... but, we're a LONG way from destroying the water on the planet.
Oh... and, there is NOTHING that is "indiputable across all scientist". :-)

Global warming is definitely happening. No significant warming since 1996 according to Phil Jones ( a leading warmist) at the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia. The Satellite readings, per University of Alabama are also showing no increase in tempreature since 1996 - a finding which contradicts all the warmists computer models.

Lots of toxins don’t evaporate. PCBs do not evaparote. You are not drinking the same water that used to be. Find me one scientist who believes we are not damaging the drinking water. Find me one who says that mercury levels are rising in fish.

China ? Heck two nights ago a section of Interstate I-20 in West Texas was closed due to brief blizzard conditions. Do not believe me ? Check the map.
