To Kill a Bastard and To Kill a Tyrant.
I thought he did a rather nice job of explaining two of the reasons the Second Amendment is VERY important to maintaining our FReedoms and our FRee Republic.
Keep in mind that if it were not for #2, none of the other Amendments would be in force today.
Perhaps some Thomas Jefferson quotes would be appropriate at this point:
“When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.”
“Does the government fear us? Or do we fear the government? When the people fear the government, tyranny has found victory. The federal government is our servant, not our master!”
It is up to us to cause ALL government poobahs to understand these truisms.
