Very good Work there!
"a pack of extremely energetic "
How do you cope? Just the mental images from some of your posts are enough to send the rest of us scurrying for the nearest sleeping area.
Congressional medal of honour in the Mail (post).
At one point, I had the Cub Scouts (they are all 6 years old) jumping up and down to see who could do it the longest. That occupied them for at least five minutes, and then they were tired and ready to work on the craft activity!
It will be nice when it’s light in the evenings, so I can take them outside. Our church is on a hilly, wooded property, managed as a bird/wildlife sanctuary by some of the “greener” parishioners, so there’s always something to see.
A couple of years ago, I took the Cubs outside, and one of the parents sat down on a bench and found a big snake beside her! It looked a lot like a copperhead (venomous), but is actually a Northern Water Snake (might bite you, but not venomous). It’s a long-time resident, and our Greeniest parishioner has given it a name.
