There are some winners among the US Bishops, but not many among the ones who are currently Cardinals.

Good feathers.
It’s fascinating that you called the election yesterday.

Its fascinating that you called the election yesterday. I didn't know you could call an election.
What's their number?

Nope. Running OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion. VM launcher, VPN, BT indicator, Wifi, speaker, battery, Date/time, Finder search, and pending updates.
Dock at the bottom has been pretty well customized, but there is nothing in Apps or in Utilities that would give me that level of font control as you'd get with the Character Map built into most MS OS's.
Font Book is about as close as you can get and it's clunky as heck...
See?
To: ArGee
I don’t know ... I didn’t call them. I was dozing on the sofa while listening to the byos natter about some computer game.

The dust bunnies, being very scattered in their thoughts, probably don’t even know either.

It’s a good bet.
In other news, I am now somewhat more mobile.
Broke down and got a smarter phone.
So now I can text, e-mail, and go “Oh BLARG!” all from my phone.
Everything is now dooooooooooomed.

...I’d much rather talk about beer, fluffy pillows, and dust bunnies here in the UT... Which is actually what it’s for, since there are religion threads and political threads. I found myself trying to scroll through the posts yeaterday, because, though I find the subject dear to my heart, I realized it’s really out of place here. So I just took my Nook and my Kindle and went to bed. Hopefully I can stay with the thread today. A little religion and a little politics here is always welcomed, but some days, one is overwhelmed when the data becomes redundant. (No apologies for that statement.)

Would anyone happen to have a CD-ROM of Win Vista (32 bit) that they no longer need?
If so, I would like to beg, borrow or buy it. The Dell has gone walkabout, it seems. (Where to look, where to look?)
I’m getting desperate.

Wow. Somehow, the Italics and Para tags disappeared from the time I typed to the time I posted. Go figure...

To: Monkey Face
Vista? Or do you need the original Dell disk? The Dell disk might have drivers and bundled software specific to your machine.
Let me look around...
To: Dead Corpse
No, not specifically for the Dell. I can’t locate that. I have an older Compaq that I think is 32 bit, but the hard drive is fried. If I can install the Vista on it, I can get the PDA up and running.

I have several shop vacs. I consider them friends. I shouldn’t have verbalized that. Drat.

It is okay.
There exists a group of free shop vacs not under thrall of Xagthrath.

I refuse to carry a phone smarter than I am.
Mine makes and takes calls. It can also do something called texting, but I never understand what it’s saying.
