Renouncing citizenship is out of the question, unless you have an alternative, but leaving to escape the USSA is wise and prudent. I did it ten years ago, and there is a groundswell of many following me.

I’ve looked into Cuenca, Equador and it’s enticing. The problem is my kids....they’re actually dogs. I’M SURE they wouldn’t survive a long trip in the cargo hold. And like I said, they’re our babies. They’re smarter than any human kid I’ve ever had. And a lot more loyal. So that problem stands in my way.
As for not paying taxes, as I understand it you’ll still be taxed unless you totally renounce your citizenship.
Medical treatment is socialized but it’s done effectively. A DR’s appointment its $25 and if you need to see a specialist you see him that day. The yearly fee is somewhere around $400. They’ve been in this business for decades so they’ve worked the kinks out.
I’d go in a heart beat if I could afford a private jet to take me and the dogs in style. Anything to get out of this country beyound killing my pets.
