Of course its semi-automatic. The knife doesn’t just continuously restab, but it is also ready to restab immediately after each stab without manual intervention in between.

Switchblade knives and similar quick opening knives are widely illegal now. Samurai swords can be owned but not carried in public. Whatever you do to protect yourself, there’s likely a law against it passed by caring liberals.
