Today I am planting some seeds in flats and doing some experimental wool washing. I have wool from my Southdown Babydoll and my East Friesian, it will be interesting to see the difference between the two.

I am also rooting some carrot tops; my celery from scraps experiment has inspired me to see what else I can grow from what formerly would have gone to the chickens.
