The fatty was excellent! We realized we could have cooked it a little less, since it had lean ground beef instead of sausage, it was not as moist, but it was still massively good!

Do you have a polder thermometer? You really need that to easily get it right. I take fatties to 165f and want to cook them with enough heat to crisp the bacon.
