When I go to a restaurant with a group, and whatever (proper use of “whatever,” btw)—whatever anyone orders, the waitress says, “Perfect!” And if she keeps throwing in “you guys” or “for you” . . . “How are you guys doing? Perfect! How is that tasting for you? Good? Perfect! Can I get you guys anything else? No? Perfect!”
I cannot stand the “you guys” phrase. We end up not going back to a restaurant after being told “you guys” about 10-15 times over the course of one meal.
