In PA, one can drink in bars while carrying, and guess what? No shootouts ever occur because of it.
in good old Hoosierland, we can carry anywhere that it is not expressly forbidden.
Was just discussing this at my local watering hole. The bartender told me she never worries about much because she knows there at least 4-6 guys carrying at any time on a busy night.
and that many more with something in their vehicle(where mine stay)

I was carrying once in a bar (concealed).. won a pool game, no worries.. BUT the guy’s GF complimented me on the game.. next thing I know, I was sucker-punched right on the nose by the jealous BF (that lost, hehe).. That was a weird experience, btw.. I fell back like a 2x4 falling down..
This was in Texas, but I was a peace officer (Deputy) at the time. Of course, the guy didn’t know that (my badge and .45 were under the cover of my pull-over)..
The Bar owner knew me, and that I was a cop.. immediately had the guy removed and profusely apologized to me... I just laughed it off ;)
Always wondered what the guy though after he found out that not only was I carrying.. but that I was a cop too :D
