The song has been sung, and the song sings. Forever!

It is impossible to see how so many can still be so small minded when this strain fills your heart. It is the best Christmas song extant, and who would have expected such a song to have been penned in French?!?

I can assure you that it is the best, because through it, God brought the wonderful message of salvation to me. And it is even more wonderful in the French!

The song has been sung, and is being sung, and will be sung.

To all eternity, in languages that only angels know now.

BRAVO! Thanks for bringing excellence, Paisan. The greatest performance on this song I have ever heard. (I never heard of Jussi until now)

Jussi Bjorling has one of the top five voices of the century. It is like melted butter.

His “Nessun Dorma”:

“On 15 March 1960, Björling suffered a heart attack before a performance of La bohème at London’s Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. However, he still performed that night. He died of heart-related causes (enlarged heart) six months later in Siarö, Sweden, aged 49. One of his final recordings was the Verdi Requiem conducted by Fritz Reiner for Decca Records which was recorded as late as June 1960 with Leontyne Price, Rosalind Elias and Giorgio Tozzi. He is buried in the little church cemetery at Stora Tuna, Sweden.”
