We’re having a slight Glowbull Warming problem here in the Rockies of northern CO. Last night it was 6f above zero and today the temp has doubled to 12f above. Let’s not even mention how far above absolute zero that is. It might scare the children.

Well...it does confuse young minds that may have been taught that the earth is warming. Just tell the children it’s not cold and snow is evil, made by the rich.

For best effect lay that on them when they come in bright red, teeth chattering, with little purple fingers and galoshes packed with snow. Then mention that hot chocolate is right out because it would hurt Mother Earth to heat the milk and growing chocolate is destroying the rain forests.
I should have had children. ;^)

We’ve already got about an inch on the house, ground and cars over here in Ft. Worth...it’s not sticking to the concrete or the roads, though. It was too warm and sunny yesterday, ground is not that cold.

Carrollton, Tx here. My backyard is colored white now.
A cold wind is blowing it around some. Surprised that the earlier thunderstorm rains would make the ground too wet to stick or too warmed.
Just fine by me.

Nice! I am in SE NM and last Christmas we had a ton of snow. The last "white" Christmas I remember before that was at Isom KY back in 1962. All the years in between, in Western Oregon, I don't think we had one.
Today here in Hobbs it didn't get above freezing, and with the wind blowing at 26 MPH that's plenty cold for me. Last year with all of our snow it didn't feel so cold!

Enjoy the snow while you can for free .... rumor is that the Food Stamp President and his commie buddies are going to tax it by the inch with a “Climatic Enjoyment Tax”.

Figured out a way to ‘overcome’ the Happy Holidays thing.
If a person says Happy Holidays, just say Merry Christmas (or whatever your choice is).
If a person say “Happy Chanukah”, just smile and say, “Thank You, Merry Christmas”. If someone say F XMAS, just smile and say “Thank You, Merry Christmas”.
If someone say “Happy Kwanza” just smile and say “Thank You Merry Christmas”.
IF someone says “Joyous Festivus” just exchange the secret handshake and say “FESTIVUS FOR THE RESTIVUS”
