Can’t repossess or damage a driveway whether they pay you or not.

Do either of above and you will end up putting it back in and probably get a fine + and in the right case YOUR company may have a ‘new owner’.
At least in VA, MD and DC used to be that way.

Same as if your crew paves the WRONG driveway.

You ‘eat’ it and the other is considered a ‘gift’.
Plus you still have a signed contract for the original.

This small business etc BS ain’t always a walk in the park.

Not legally, but the guys laying down pavers are not exactly legal scholars - but they do want to get paid.
