Must be a ‘black’ thing as I have never heard of Mac and cheese with Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.

I believe her idea of ‘help’ is to scrape a full plate into her mouth.

Seems I remember they brought their chef from Il with them. Dat gurl don’t cook.

And mac and cheese on Christmas?

We have it at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Perhaps it is more of a Southern thing? Either way, we have it each year (not the box type but the homemade type).

Must be a Chicago black thing.I’ve asked blacks I know here in TN about that recently and not one said it was on the menu. Chitlins yes, man and cheese no. Many of my white friends do the chitlins also
