I live in a very diverse area of Atlanta, and I can’t imagine working in retail here (like at Best Buy). Granted there are a lot of good people here - but a lot of bad ones too.
Being the manager of a retail place must be one of the most stressful jobs on the planet. First you have to deal with all the “attitudes” and in doing so walk on eggshells to avoid an EEO filing. Then you have to constsantly be checking security so the merchandise doesn’t walk out the back door and be up for sale at half price in the barber shop the next day.
There’s a whole unique set of protocols to be memorized in dealing with the New Royalty.
