So tell me, did you get any Atlas Shrugged flashbacks the other day when that Amtrak train left the rails?

Of the three people who died on that train, two were friends of mine. One was our newsletter editor for 35 years, and the other, his cousin, was our database administrator. I suspect they were walking in the car while taking pictures for the newsletter. Had they been seated, they might have survived.

It's too much like the train that disappeared into the tunnel in Atlas Shrugged and never came out. The innocent die.
