I am just reporting on my childhood and the first integration days in Mississippi... with absolute honesty . I live in South Mississippi. This point is not negotiable. I was in the first generation of integration in Mississippi and I lived it and I am telling you that I NEVER WITNESSED ANY PROBLEMS. It wasn't until I had graduated from High School and then when the democrats started their crap... as they ALWAYS do... race problems occurred.
BTW... some of the black kids that I went to Junior High and High School with are customers and friends of mine today.
I was a Boy Scout as a kid... it was the best thing that ever happened to me and I support the Boy Scouts today and have friends that are Scoutmasters. GOD bless you for being one!!! Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I believe what you say about your experience. Oxford, 1962, was a very different experience for James Meredith than yours. The University of Alabama, 1963, was a very different experience than yours. Boston, 1980 or so, was a very different experience than yours.
James Meredith is a fascinating and complex man - abandoned by the liberal elite, the Civil Rights movement, and the liberal media because of his conservative views.
