I won’t see the end of the world because I’ll either be sleeping or at work.
(1) The claim the world will end originates from the work of one 19th century archaeologist based on a drawing in one of the few surviving Mayan manuscripts. (The Spanish, bless their hearts, destroyed most of the Mayan works).
(2) The drawing may not mean, probably doesn't, the "end of the world" but rather indicates the end of a major Mayan calendar cycle (they had several) and possibly some kind of renewal.
(3) Other Mayan calendars, very rare, HAVE been found and show the world continuing.
So if you trust Nat Geo climb out of your prepper hideaway and go get your Christmas shopping done. Only 5 more days.
