I just watched a “most likely” bammer supporter giving tax advice on a morning talk show. At least TWO of the things she stated were just dead wrong, although she did have to admit that taxes were going up on the working poor making less than $50K a year. I wish the interviewer had said “I thought we were told that wasn’t happening to anyone making less than $250K?
xshub tries out a variety at the range and then decides what he wants to buy and has bought online exclusively.
You need to pay the local dealer some sort of transfer fee, right?
Expecting libs to tell the truth violates Einstein’s definition of insanity.
i have no idea. clearly he has given this some thought or else he would have just bought it from the shop at the range.
I have a friend who is married, and was married once before, neither time very happily, as it happens.
She can be quite demanding, but perhaps the men she chose weren’t exactly high-fidelity either, if you get my (and their tendency to) drift.
She refers to them as the Past Rat and the Present Rat.
She is a woman of some financial means, and she has had to make a series of alimony payments to the first husband, and she is about to pay off the Present Rat to get him out of the picture too—a kind of prenuptial going-away present.
The problem is the pay-off to the Present Rat is going to take most of her available cash, leaving her only with hard assets, including a very large jewelry collection; and she still owes the first husband one more sizeable alimony payment.
What should I do? she asked me the other day.
I told her to pay off present loser in cash as quickly as she can, because he is definitely trouble.
As to the first husband, I pointed to her rather excessive assortment of jewelry, and told her it was simple: “Give the Past Rat a Gem!”
Actually I think she was just an idiot. Poor diction, and worked for one of those “quick tax return” places that pop up in Walmarts across the country.... so I’m kind of thinking not much training or education in tax policy.
i love gems! : )
A+++
You went a long way for that. I love it!
“Diction” is just a tool of the colonial oppressor, man. ;-)
“You went a long way for that. I love it!”
Let’s face it: If you two read all the way through, then YOU went a long way for it!
Warm regards, thanks for the daily smile, and good words to both of you!
FW
come back more often, we like going all the way ; )
Thanks, Fightin Whitey. We’d love to put you on the Word For The Day ping list. Your post was so clever, we’d even consider waiving the usual fee. :)
A++++
Fabulous! The extra + is for your tag line.
And yet you wondered what I was up to this morning that caused me to be "a little tardy."
xsbaby wrote a message of condolence to Judge Bork’s grandson on FB this AM. he responded with “thanks so much, your parents might find it funny that we are being swamped by the media.” MSM had no use for him alive, but now he’s news.
You have outdone yourself, good sir.
I was reading the article posted concerning arming teachers in VA, and I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw this-
“Sen. A. Donald McEachin, D-Henrico, Democratic caucus chairman, said, The governor should know better than to suggest that arming citizens will solve anything.”
Apparently, they haven’t read much American history...
Obama’s capos are in disarray-
The new Roman mob is stirring
With bread and circuses run out
What is to keep them purring?
They are fresh out of stratagems
And the wolves are at the door-
They’re hungry for political scandal
Like during Nixon’s time before
Throwing Hillary to that mob
Probably won’t bring much relief-
When the tidbits lead to the top
They’ll want the commander-in-thief
Yeah—the MSM loved Reagan, too. After he died.
