the drivetime DJs were discussing how many pairs of underwear they own. women appear to own far more than men. the consensus was that women own around 20+ pairs or so and men fewer. i have to say i have at least 20-25. more is better so that you are not over a barrel to do laundry every single weekend in order to have fresh ‘gutchies’ for the week.
I have no idea how this topic changed from involitates to “gotchies” ... But I travel (a lot!) and so felt I was the odd-ball with respect to nbr-of-underwear per male. And that because I had more than 7 sets.
I can’t image trying to fit 25+ sets (socks, briefs, and t-shirts) into a drawer.
Then again, I only have black socks and white socks, so most of the socks match each other most of the time.
On the other hand, many a young male has many pairs because he just bought more when he didn’t have any clean ones!
travelers have to have lotsa panties bc you might get caught with back to back trips and not enough time for laundry.
