that's why I'm leaning towards the stag arms piston AR15. the gas impingement system of the AR15 has always been its weakest link. I've been wanting a piston AR15 but the price has always been prohibitive; however,
this Stag Arms model 8 piston driven AR15 seems like a whole lotta gun for $1,145. comes with flip up front and rear sites too. I was an expert rifleman in the infantry so I'm partial to the platform too. That's why I went with the AR10T over an FAL or a HK or an M1a (plus the price was right).
