I'm looking for good places to buy ammo. I usually buy at walmart or from Sportsman's Guide. SG had a lot of "Backordered - Expected Availability: ..." and I don't feel like dealing with the Christmas shoppers at wally world. Sorry for the vanity, but do Freepers have an good sources for buying ammo (and mags) on-line? Thanks.
If you shoot a lot you might try loading your own. Once you get setup, you can load your own for about 1/3 to 1/2 of factory loads. Another advantage of loading you can control everything. different powders, projectiles and primers can and will produce different results.
A complete RCBS (very good) loading setup with everything you need (except dies)can be purchased for around $250.00 or less. Dies depending on brand can be purchased from about $30.00 & up. or you can find every thing you need on eBay cheaper.
There are books galore out there to teach you how and get you started. It is not as hard as most think.
Besides it is not only fun but you get a real sense of accomplishment.
Try CDNN also a good gun source.

Thanks very much for your help and advice!
