Read somewhere that in Mexico they only have ONE store where you can purchase guns, and that store is government owned. However, all the cartels and criminals are well armed, backing up the theory that if guns are outlawed, only outlaws have guns. Let’s hope the majority of Americans NEVER permit our right to bear arms.

well, lots to address in the homebrew rant...a lot of guns are gonna be “lost” and NOT turned in as folks realize that the 2nd amendment will be revoked. Even with all the best of intentions, evil will find a way to hurt, maim, torture, kill. We can put into place ridiculous numbers of laws to prevent crime, but evil is evil and it walks the earth. Only God can ultimately end the evil that boldly grows each day.
This is the PROPER WAY for gun control supporters take our guns...as opposed to Executive Orders. All they have to do is get 2/3’s of the House and Senate and 3/4’s of the states to go along...which won’t happen.
But I respect them for at least trying to play by the rules.
I am done hearing about the anti-gun arguments. My way of life is not compatible with this monster’s way of life. I am tired of him and his crowd of low intelligence fools creating a culture of disregard for life and spewing hate at everyone who tries to live with the slightest trace of decency.
I have one word for him and his insufferable cohort-— GO!
Feel free to give up your Second Amendment Rights, hose nose. And put a big sign out in your front yard to let the world know that your house is a gun-free zone.

The amendments in the Bill of Rights are inalienable and cannot be taken away. These were created to prevent tyranny and protect our individual rights to liberty. Take away the 2nd and you will have open revolt.
...and don’t worry about guns. The Dems have MUCH BIGGER fish to fry. They are SALIVATING at taking the House in 2014 and finishing off this country - especially with the Republicans looking like a BUNCH OF IDIOTs in the budget talks. They are not about to walk the plank (again) on gun control.
Aside from a few whackos in safe House districts, in a week it will be like this never happened. The best they can hope for is some EOs out of Obama, and I’m not even sure if he wants to risk that. The Dems will quickly send their orders out to the media to drop it...and “what shooting” will be the response by Christmas.
The Homebrewedtheology article is filled with way more incorrect and false premises than I care to address. But, I will address one; his comment about the general citizenry being no match for trained Marines, etc. I would say to that - our military is philosophically conservative. So, it’s not a given that they would be willing to fire on their brothers, sisters, parents, etc, etc. consequently, when Obama gave the (I’m paraphrasing) “we can no longer count on our military, we need our own, just as strong, etc ~ “ he was and is aware of this. So, it would be interesting to see how this would unfold for sure.
