Mr C4E is always happy with gift wrapped boxes of ammo of his choice or another just got to have guitar.

as I have said before...listen up guys...the ability to accessorize separates us from the lower animals. And, if the accessories are big rocks of sparkly carbon...it's a very good thing. :-)

Then again boys, if you gave me ammo for Christmas I'd think that was just a tad presumptuous, unless we were shooting buddies or something. My hunting cartridges are custom loads, and I am just as particular about other pieces. And - it's just a little bizarre - if kinda cool - I guess - but also kinda poserish. Like - you're going to give me a case of shot shells for Christmas? Just kinda wierd. No, from a guy, socks or a bottle of something is just fine.

With the economic collapse and resultant chaos and widespread violent civil unrest bearing down on us, I would be most appreciative of someone who gave me a case of 5.56 to defend my family with. But that's just me.

My ex in fact did give me a new iron for Christmas one year. I looked at him, then the iron while calculating the accuracy of my throw and velocity. :-)

I remember overhearing a conversation that my late FIL had with my husband just prior to our wedding. “NEVER, EVER, get her a vacuum cleaner for an anniversary present”. Yeah... he learned the hard way, too. At least he passed on good words of knowledge and wisdom. LOL!

Yes he did...Mr C4E’s mom received a riding mower for an anniversary gift one year. Can’t verify the outcome on that one, but from my hubby’s at the time youthful perspective...she was not a happy camper. :-)

how about a new iron. Maybe a few cans of Pledge and some new dust rags. I guarantee she’ll love them /s!

Nah, that stuff's practical. To my way of thinking, camouflage bedding is downright romantic.

Regarding your tag line: Yeah, especially when you see a later reply to the deleted post that says something like, “YEAH!! Boy did you hit the nail on the head. Agree 100% BUMP!”

You're the first person to ever comment on my tagline. I figured I was the only person who wished she knew what the deleted posts said. Back in the day, the posts that quoted the deleted post were left in, but now they're deleted, too. I completely understand deleting offensive stuff, but I still wish I could find out what was in those posts.
