We all know what happened today.
We all have felt an immense sense of sorrow for those victims in Connecticut.
And, we know what's coming.
I'm posting this thread for us to gather our resources.
Before doing so becomes illegal.

Today, I thank you for your post. It is realistic.
I live in FL and am thinking of moving to TX. It is scarier and scarier and the civil conflict obama is fomenting continues:black/white-—haves/havenots-— morality and religion going down sides..etc.
Now it feels scairy..soon it WILL be scairy.

What happened today (admitting we know almost nothing) makes sense with the pressure of a ‘guiding hand’ applied to a weak and twisted mind.
It makes far less sense as a random act of a shooter who acted alone, as in:
Batman.
Mall.
Elementary School.
NEXT up? ______________ if you were Raoul X, what next? Scary thought.
So, let me get this straight. ONE citizen out 330,000,000 does something like this every 20 years or so so we should screw over the 329,999,999 for the next 20 years????

I don’t doubt it. We are going to see demagoguery and propaganda on a tremendous scale along with some (more) extra-Constitutional measures.
Do you know anyone that has a concealed carry license that would not have stepped into the breach and done whatever they could to stop the slaughter of those children, even though it might have cost them their life? I don’t. We are not the problem.

I am seeing that some areas are not only NOT going to fight the tyranny - But they are BEGGING for it.
The people of CT will BEG the state police to take all of the guns away, and to lock up all of the “Bitter clingers”. They will BEG for it.
It’s not that I now see Connecticut changing it’s stance on guns. They have ALWAYS chomped at the bit for the chance to take guns. That hasn’t changed.
A week ago we read an article about a guy who went to the Hartford gun buy-back . He found that people weren’t tempted to give him their guns for more money - those people were honestly convinced that guns need to be handed to the police.
The citizens of Connecticut, as well as other states and areas, will honestly beg for the police to round up gun owners. They will cheer for it. Neighbors will turn in neighbors. Co-workers will call the police on you. You will be sat in front of a psychiatrist who will declare you unfit to own your property, and you will be put in jail.
We all know that American Society has changed. I have discovered that Facebook is simply a place to rail against Christianity. I have seen that Youtube is overrun by Islamists and socialists and half-men hipster weenies. I have seen that our professional and social media are now overrun by communists.
Look around you, me, and us. The liberal agenda hasn’t changed recently. The people have.

They've always had this deep burning love of murdering the innocent.
This tragedy should not have happened.
I read that the shooter was mentally ill.
I also read that the guns belonged to the Mother.
I blame the Mother for letting her mentally ill son have access to guns.
Based on the facts, there is no argument for more gun control laws.

Right because the perpetrators may think twice about going to a place where they could be killed by another acting in self defense. But then of course that gun on campus would have to be locked in a safe so as not to fall into the wrong hands which would mean it may be hard to get to when needed!
So the left is thinking of using this to get their agenda moving? (I’ve read lots of comments on this forum saying that the left will use this to push for strict gun laws.) Conservatives have an even more powerful voice because truth is powerful. We just have to use our voice. We cannot keep silent. The light shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot overcome it. (John 1) So then, when we speak the truth, we help to put out the darkness.
I wish we could have a huge rally and promote all the reasons we need to allow law abiding citizens to own guns. Find every story we can find on victims saving their lives or the life/lives of someone/others with their legal firearm. Maybe get Donald Trump, since he seems to like to get his nose into things, and since he has money, to post all these articles of saved lives in newspapers everywhere. Be a loud squeaky wheel, louder than the Rats who are usually the loudest and squeakiest and usually falsifying their facts as well.
Next, I propose that Conservatives promote homeschooling and show that this incident could have been avoided altogether if parents would have homeschooled their children, kept them away from the gun free zone, and into a gun protected home, for example.
If the left is going to use this to promote their agenda, I say, we use our wits, intelligence, and the power of the truth to silence them and refute them.
