I like Schneider also, but I think it's overpriced...most expensive Weizen in our local market at $4.50/bottle. I prefer Weihenstephan, Planck, Paulaner, and Pinkus Muller. I think Pinkus Muller may be the best of what's available here...refreshingly tart and fruity.

Everything Pinkus Muller makes is outstanding...give it a try if you haven't already.

Have you tried Julius Escher? That’s a cheaper variant and quite good.

Weihenstephan is pretty good, but it has an aftertaste. Paulaner I find so/so.
