We’d have to turn off the underwater volcanoes that are erupting in the Arctic first!

I suggest we keep stuffing libs and enviro wacko’s in volcanoes until they stop. If we run out- we can always try different approach. :)

On a more serious note, this idea is very dangerous and all ideas like it, tinkering with the climate of the earth in our rather limited state of actual understanding, and having no real idea what natural trends might be in play, would be inviting an irreversible disaster of some unknown type (most likely where we inadvertently create the startup conditions for a glaciation, and that would prove much more difficult to reverse). I think we should go with what nature provides and adapt as the climate changes, for whatever reasons it is changing. We are not stuck with rising sea levels in that outcome either, it might be easier to develop technology to desalinate ocean water and use it in many ways to improve economic and social conditions in the third world, if we want to get into mass engineering schemes.
