About twenty years ago there was a Houston Oiler player who committed suicide on the freeway after an accident on a multi-story exit ramp that threw his "close friend" out of the window to his death.

Rumor had it that the "close friend" was performing a certain act that resulted in a certain appendage being amputated when the accident occurred.
