I think it should be pointed out that when parents are attracted to “cross-genderism” in their children, it is not the training or the children who are in error, but their parents.
Even at the turn of the 20th Century, there were parents who dressed their boys up in dresses, intentionally trying to feminize them. Despite what this said as, even then this wasn’t “social convention”, but parents acting weird.
“Little Franklin Delano Roosevelt sits primly on a stool, his white skirt spread smoothly over his lap, his hands clasping a hat trimmed with a marabou feather. Shoulder-length hair and patent leather party shoes complete the ensemble. We find the look unsettling today, yet social convention of 1884, when FDR was photographed at age 2 1/2, dictated that boys wore dresses until age 6 or 7, also the time of their first haircut.”
Efforts at “cross-genderism” also found a home in the Progressivism movement, alongside all sorts of other dubious efforts at social engineering. They rejected the idea that people had natural programming or ‘design specifications’, and embraced the idea that things like eugenics and conditioning could create “the perfect man”.
They did an impressive amount of evil and harm in the pursuit of their fantasies, and still do.
Some time ago I saw a documentary about a boy who, when he was a baby, somehow suffered major damage to his you-know-what..I think it was the result of an operation gone wrong. The doctors then decided that, given the circumstances,it was best to turn him into a girl and raise him as a girl.Long story short, the guy, interviewed for the documentary, said that he know all along that he didn't want to do girl things and that there was something very wrong with the way he was treated...and that was *before* he understood anything about what happened.IOW,being a boy...or a girl...is innate,at birth,to all kids and only the most disordered individuals attempt to buck that important fact of nature.
