There is a shortage of water, just as there is a shortage of most everything in the normal usage of the word "shortage" when discussing regional shortages.

How many times can you mock someone living in the Sahara, because they mention their own REGIONAL shortage of water, by pointing out to them that there is plenty of water elsewhere on the planet, and think that you are making a profound argument?

This is so SILLY. There IS NOT any SUCH THING as a “shortage” of water. If you needed water, you could order a pallet load of bottled water from Iceland delivered by FEDEX overnight. You can have all the water you want to purchase, just about anywhere on earth.

There is only a shortage of the money, or the will to spend the money, to have sufficient water of sufficient quality delivered to the user.

Why is this so hard to grasp?
