“Red-headed steppe children?”
Best play on words I’ve seen in a long time.

The conclusion on DNA test on all 12 samples of the Caucasoid mummies contained DNA from: Europe, Mesopotamia, Central Asia, Mongolia, India, and Siberia.

{cough - splat} iPad. It's goober-proof!
We gave John Cameron Swayze a new iPad and strapped him into a NASA rocket sled to show you how tough they are.
(don't know if you're old enough to remember those Timex commercials)

Those redheads got around. I wonder how many know that Ramses the Great had red wavy hair? Originally they thought he just colored it as there was henna found on his hair but tests showed his natural hair was also red.
Wasn't Esau, son of Isaac and brother of Jacob, also a redhead?
To: thecodont
I think tradition and maybe even the Bible say that King David was a red head.

Thanks CJ Wolf for the ping, thanks Renfield for the topic.
Just adding to the catalog, not sending a general distribution.
To all -- please ping me to other topics which are appropriate for the GGG list. |

Had Kerry been properly educated, he would know that Temujin son of Yesugei was the Chinggis Khan. “Genghis” is part of a title, not a name.

“...Ramses the Great had red wavy hair...”
So, as one with red, wavy hair, that should qualify me as a descendant and I am making claim to my inheritance currently housed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Some of that likely came out of Tut’s Tomb, and I have seen it with my own eyes!

I have always disliked red hair tho it runs in my family.
When my daughter was born, the nurse told me I had a beautiful baby daughter. When I saw her among the other newborns, my first reaction was: “Oh no, red hair”. It is still red tho more like auburn now. Her children are all blondes.
