Gaye III sounds a bit discombobulated.
I don’t know why we can’t just let these people rest in peace. Hollyweird just has to make a buck.
I thought this movie had already been made, some time ago of course . . . I must be wrong.
Gaye III tells TMZ The producers and directors of this film are very wrong and shameful [They’re] trying to do a film about a low period in his life. They dont even know the whole story.
Dude’s got a point, the story is not exactly standard Hollywood fare. There’s no happy ending to the story, no triumphant redemption, and everyone knows that going in to the theater. The circumstances don’t lend themselves to painting Gaye as a noble martyr either. I doubt they are going to do it as a tragic morality play, after all, when was the last time Hollywood cared for morality? So what does that leave? Exploitation.
