CA and MI combined are approx. $400B in the hole regarding pensions and benefits owed to union employees and retirees. Fox News notes that these unions have now approached a compliant White House with the demand that they be bailed-out because they helped Obama win reelection.
Unions! We’re Going To Do For Healthcare What We Did For The Auto Industry!
We knew that was coming.
Just print mo money! I’m gonna start calling it Obamabucks.
They used this oney to fund the democrats in the election, now taxpayers will have to pay them back for stealing money from themseleves to buy democrats in office.
This is criminal.
They better hurry because Right to Work is coming to Michigan at an ever increasing speed.
Of course it’s criminal, in the old sense of the word. But we’re a Communist dictatorship now. This is how it’s done.
Declaring Bankruptcy may be the only way out, for the cities, the states AND the nation.
“A hundred billion here, a hundred billion there; pretty soon you’re talking about real money.”
Except this is making all our money even more like the play money it will be revealed as very soon.

I guess I’ve never understood where the President gets all of this money to throw around. Doesn’t all Federal spending have to be approved by Congress? Beyond money allocated to fund existing executive branch agencies, where does Obama get billions to give to unions, “green” energy companies, etc?
1. The union gets bailed out with our dollars.
2. The union then donates (all very legal) time and money and “volunteers” to work with superpacs that support Obama and the other Demonicrats.
In effect the United States Taxpayer has become the direct contributor to the Demonicrat Party.
Exactly, but Repubs will do the same laundering with military spending.
And what’s wrong with that at least the money would be put to good use.
The union slackers just pad their retirement accounts and pi$$ on everyone else.
Defense spending is one of those issues that separates the people who are serious about limited government and fiscal restraint from those who merely talk about it.
Defense spending cuts are #1 on the dems list they want to spend more on the free ride bus to make sure the 2014 election swing the right way.
So most conservatives don’t really disagree with liberals on spending or size of government—they both want more and bigger—they just disagree on what form it should take? Handouts to deadbeats or handouts to pork project defense contractors? Take your pick, because virtually nobody in Washington is serious about smaller government.
This is why I won’t vote for a Dem or a Rep. The Dems are dangerous and Reps are big-government liars.
Conservatives do disagree with liberals on spending or size of government.
Bigger isn’t better it’s just greed for power and not knowing what to do with it,see Obama&Co.
