ok.
Some magical deus ex-machina that fixes everything.
A lot of us would call that bad, unimaginative writing.
OKAY, a question I am afraid to ask: did this “magical device” kill the bad guys or just stop their weapons and we sent them home all nice and humane-like?
I agree with the list. I saw Battleship, Superman, Rock of Ages and all three were disappointing. I see Dark Shadows on the beginning but didn’t see it broken out in a separate picture so I am glad about that because I liked the movie myself.
Did you really want to argue over an opinion about a movie? Seriously. Like I said... I didn’t see it but was commenting on a person who did with a group of people (who also really liked the movie). Good night.

I will be surprised if I have even one FREEPER disagree with me on this incredible list.
I read that they left out "mars" intentionally since the last two "Mars" films failed so miserably.
F911 had a global film market (including marketing by terrorists in Lebanon) whereas there are only small pockets of persons in Eastern Europe, England, and Canada who cheer for the American Way.
we are perfect to debate the merits of a film neither of us have seen.
lol
“Mars needs Moms” did not fail because of the word “Mars”
Conservatives never make movies for World audience. It is always a very small company. I loved courageous but if they would learn how to market our movies, we might get some conversions. Liberals really know how to market to the masses. Sometimes I think we like our small little groups....lol.
The Koreans Used and EMP to knock out parts of the power grid. This "box" had shielding that protected its electronics so that they could communicate with each other. The Americans needed it so that they could eavesdrop on the Koreans comm system.
The premise is legitimate. 4-5 low yield air bursts would do a lot of damage to our grid due to the EMP.
Agreed and neither did "Mars attacks" both were POS's, which as I said was why the producers intentionally left out the word "Mars" so that no one would associate the three movies.
Well, there have been a billion crappy “Mars” themed sci-fi flicks, so I can see why they’d worry. Still, “John Carter” is about the plainest, least exciting name they could have come up with. “The Saga of Barsoom, Volume I”... there, I just made that up, and it is at least more intriguing than “John Carter”, and no Mars-curse.
Well, the crew had no reason to think he was dead. The last time they talked to him, he was fine inside the alien ship, waiting for the storm to die down.
I liked the Marvel Avengers. I also liked the other movie from the same director...
Cabin In The Woods.
One of the rare movies that I went to see twice in the theaters. Maybe the ONLY movie I’ve ever seen twice in the theater, now that I think of it.
Joss Whedon knows how to do dialog.
...did this magical device kill the bad guys or just stop their weapons and we sent them home all nice and humane-like?
Sums up my problem with both the Capt. America and Avengers movies that people raved about. And when did Sgt. Fury become black?

All of them.
