On talk radio today, a caller said that anyone who is afraid of guns, and/or doesn’t own one, should have nothing to say against the 2nd Amendment.

I have had some polite interaction with victims of gunphobia. I ask them why they aren't deathly afraid of driving their SUV down the highway at 70 MPH, loaded with their family on feet away from perfect strangers. There are a lot of moving parts and operating a vehicle is VERY complicated. There are a lot of controls, it takes two hands, your feet and a lot of focus to avoid killing yourself and others.

Now why does a machine with 2 to 4 moving parts scare you again?
