it doesn’t take much for officers to shoot anything nowaday. depriving you of life or’liberty is nothing compared to “officer safety.” Screw officer safety. they’re just shy of murdering people with ccw permits cause one of the idiots with badges will scream “HE’S GOT A GUN!” “Officer Safety” in my day was a goof in a funny costume. Not a paramountstanding order to shoot anything and everything because cop is wetting her (or his) pants and “feels threatened”. Hell, i feel threatened with the low caliber of cops running around with weapins they can’t wait to have an uneasy feeling to grab and fire at anything that moves. wish us regular citizens had sovereign immunity too.
