Believe me, I would have few qualms about doing that. I'm trying to be an adult for the sake of my son though. But I did tell my wife not to worry; they won't tolerate being away from their grandson, and they have to go through me to get to him. Bwahahahah!!!

I went through this with my father-in-law.
I made it clear to him that I was in charge of my family...not him and I don’t take kindly to intimidation or threats.
After the birthday gift for my oldest son was returned to sender, my mother-in-law was in tears on the phone with me and I calmly explained the situation to her.
Within days of my conversation with my mother-in-law, my father-in-law was at my door quite contrite and scared. I sternly looked him in the eye and told him man to man to never, ever, pull crap like that on me again.
