Happy Birthday, Once Again!
Slinky spirals do amaze,
Standing in for passing days,
One more circle ‘round the sun,
Birthdays? Add another one!
So like Groundhog Day it seems,
Passing once again in dreams.
Getting older, taller too!
Is it still fun being you?
Some kids worry, then they fret,
We think they shouldn’t have to, yet.
But fitting in can rub in spots,
Politeness says are touch-me-nots!
Just smile as if you’re having fun,
Go through the day and get it done,
If you’re puzzled, you just might see,
Exactly how Life seems to me!
