Thanks for the review, Lori. I’m sure this will be a good movie and I hope I can get the chance to see it. It is at the theatre, isn’t it? I don’t get to the movies too often but you have made this one very tempting (even with the tears). I like something that is recommended highly. Thanks for informing us!! Life of Pi is playing this week at our local theater. I don't go to movies often. We did go and see Atlas Shrugged Parts 1 and 2 and the Hunger Games, and I want to see this one, for sure. But I usually prefer to watch movies on DVD in the comfort of my own home. I just don't want to wait for the DVD release in order to see this. I think it is going to be spectacular.

Since we've been going to a few movies this past year, what a shock to find what it costs! By the time you get through with purchasing the tickets and a drink and popcorn you're up to $25 - $30 for two people. Then, if you add dinner on top of it, you have an expensive evening out. That is why we don't do it often. Microwave popcorn, a can of diet coke and my recliner are just fine with me. ;-)
