These and similar trucks (and trucklets) are one of the things the major automakers have done in order to clear the official “car” class of vehicles to eensy weensy things that will satisfy the draconian gummit regulations for fuel economy of “cars.” It’s not Ford only; even gummit-owned Chrysler and GM do it too.
