One of the former Bambi lovers on our cul de sac did the same thing with some expensive roses. She didn’t want to hurt the dear deer if they tried to get over a fence to her roses.

Recently, she wanted the name of our yard guy to install deer proof metal fences like ours. A neighbor to the west of us in another home owners assoc., replicated our fence. This morning his neighbor just south of him took advantage of our wet and soggy fields after days of rain. This morning, he had some amigos out driving 10’ metal fence posts 2’ into the ground and plans to have a deer fence in by next week.

A new bambi lover in between all of the new fences and ours said he and his wife refuse to block nature. I told him fine. His neighbor just south of him, the former bambi lover, felt like he did for about 4 years.

The bucks in our area, the past two ruts have been very aggressive towards some of the bambi lover neighbors. This week, a bigger than normal doe has been chasing the other does out of our area. Apparently, she is claiming the area for her upcoming new bambi fawns. She has twins every year and is a terrible mother. All of her fawns have fallen to coyotes or been hit by cars trying to follow her.
