My dad’s line has been researched with books published, for at least 120 years in this country, so it has a pretty good line established, the family is also heavily researched in other countries and has a long time DNA project going.
We didn’t know any of this until after my father’s funeral, when a scientist cousin who is involved in the genealogy told us and opened up my father’s family to us, my father had largely cut off contact with his family before we were born.
Since then I have gotten into it some and gathered some of the old research books from the past, and from the current leading genealogist from a parallel branch of our family tree.
Now after careful consideration I agree... Hawaii would WIN
They have Interstate Highways ... that kind of optimism cannot be overlooked.
