Renowned Christian motivational speaker Zig Ziglar passed away in a Texas hospital Wednesday morning after battling pneumonia. The Associated Press confirmed with Ziglar's executive assistant, Laurie Magers, that the influential speaker known for "The Ziglar Way" died at a hospital in Plano, Texas, located in the suburb of Dallas. Dr. Tony Evans, Senior Pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, issued a joint statement with his wife, Lois Evans, regarding the passing of the motivational speaker and author.

Zig was a good guy. I remember classes taught at my church based on his videos and books.
Ask the average Obama voter who Zig Ziglar was. You will receive blank looks.
