This is no big deal. We are still a free country. Once the Feds start investigating, interviewing and sending subpoena’s to people the witnesses are still free citizens.
Unless some other law places an obligation to not disclose like financial industry rules, a witness is free to disclose to anyone. This is not a police state yet.
