snow day snow, or just a nice dusting? i am kind of ready for snow, but we have none here.

Snowing huh? It looked almost like a snow sky here yesterday - not a lot of sun, some wind blowing the leaves around and just looked gloomy all day (I loved it!).....walked outside in my bare feet, capri pants and a tshirt..... apparently NOT about to snow. ;^)

Snow, huh? It is 56, breezy and clear here-the leaves are turning and starting to fall-I’m thinking of going way into the woods later this afternoon with a book, a snack and one of those fabric bags-that I do NOT use for groceries-to collect some fall foliage and flowers to brighten up the kitchen...

Even in my salad days
I had some questions about
Things I was told are free-
I was a prisoner of doubt

How is it free, I asked-
Does no one have to pay?
What if they need tomorrow
The money they spent today?

So, now that money was wasted
It didn’t accomplish a lot
But to teach more lazy people
To want what others have got
